Qld: Qld ministers spend $30m on expenses
BRISBANE, Aug 8 AAP - Queensland government ministers outspent the two opposition party
leaders more than 10 to one, according to the latest expenses figures.
Ministers spent $29.4 million over the past financial year on travel, salaries and
other expenses.
Opposition Leader Lawrence Springborg's expenses budget totalled $1.95 million, while
former Liberal leader Bob Quinn spent $383,000.
Mr Beattie spent just under $4 million, including $164,000 on overseas travel and official
duties.
