NSW: Male driver dies after flipping car on the M4
SYDNEY, April 19 AAP - A man is dead after his car hit a power pole and flipped on
the M4 motorway in Sydney's west.
Police said they found an upturned car near the Colemans St on-ramp at Merrylands at
about 12.20pm (AEST) on Sunday.
The male driver died at the scene.
It appears the man veered across a number of lanes, clipped a power pole and hit a
safety barrier before the car flipped on its roof, police said.
Motorists are urged to avoid the area as two east-bound lanes and the on-ramp remain closed.
